Adept SEO, a North East SEO company

Adept SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) was created by Phil Jarvis and John H Perkin. Adept SEO, is a north east SEO company that are specialists in providing professional and effective SEO services to companies in North East England.

Phil Jarvis was born and brought up in Newcastle Upon Tyne and is a software engineer with more than 10 years experience. He has gained a comprehensive understanding of how search engines work after years of study. Phil studied search engine technology as part of an Artificial Intelligence module, part of his 2005 degree course at Northumbria University.

Phil's final year dissertation was on the subject of how businesses could increase their visibility on the worlds major search engines. He graduated with a BSc in 'Computing and Business' and a first class BSc (Hons) in Computing. During his University time he was awarded the Michell Bearings prize for the best final year project.

Phil has several years practical experience in search engine optimisation techniques and has designed an developed specialist software to assist in this task.

Phil worked as a software engineer for North East Electronics Ltd ‘NEE’ from 1996 to 2006. In 2002 Phil was given the project of increasing NEE’s website visibility and internet generated sales throughout the world. His astounding achievements at this task are evidenced by this graph.

John H Perkin was born on a farm near Launceston, Cornwall. John joined the Royal Air Force as an Aircraft Apprentice, at RAF Locking, together with more than 180 other new apprentices. By the age of 26 John Perkin achieved the rank of Chief Technician, he served in England and the Middle East.

When John Perkin left the Royal Air Force in 1974 he began North East Electronics Ltd. and held the roles of Chief Design Engineer and Managing Director. The company designed manufactured, marketed, developed and supported advanced custom electronic and computer equipment used to automate a wide range of machines. Customers included Philips (Holland), British Gas, British Aerospace, British Nuclear Fuels, Rolls Royce Aero Engines, and numerous other British businesses. All utilised our 'cutting edge' machine control systems to automate their machines.

At it's peak North East Electronics Ltd. employed some 45 people at it's Team Valley, Gateshead premises. Over the period from 1974 to March 2005 total world-wide sales exceeded 10,000 control systems valued at in excess of £27,000,000.

In 1995 John H Perkin began NEE Controls Inc, Toledo, Ohio, USA. He had the roles of chief design engineer and President. The company imported control systems produced by his British company, and developed, marketed and supported these. During the period many new control system applications were located. John oversaw and assisted in the design and development of enhancements to the British product to meet the revised specifications required by these applications. Between 1995 and March 2005 total US sales exceeded $11,000,000.

In March 2005 John Perkin sold both his British and American companies to an American company who were eager to obtain the companies world leading technology, it’s world markets and it’s websites.
